Bloober Team Join Forces With Rogue Games For An Unannounced Next-Gen Game

Bloober Team is in the spotlight again: after Konami, they have announced another partnership agreement to the press.

Polish up-and-coming studio Bloober Team signed a significant deal with Konami a few months ago, the details of which are not yet known. The creators of Blair Witch, Layers of Fear, or even the latest The Medium have just announced their latest collaboration on a title exclusively for next-gen consoles and PC.

Now, in a joint press release with Rogue Games, they have announced that they have partnered up to co-publish an unannounced game, with no other information revealed at this time. Rogue Games is a new company in the industry but boasts veteran members who have worked for big companies such as Apple, Sony and Electronic Arts. They will be involved in the project as publishers and distributors.

Not many details about the deal were revealed above, but both companies have spoken out and expressed their excitement about the collaboration. Piotr Babieno, CEO of Bloober Team, said:

“We couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with Rogue on this incredible project”.

“We pride ourselves on making games that push the boundaries of originality and immersion, and we’re delighted to be working alongside a company that shares our vision.”

Adding to this statement, Matt Casamassina, CEO of Rogue Games, explained some of the reasons behind the partnership:

“We’ve admired Bloober’s dark and gorgeous games for years, so we knew right away they were the only team to do this crazy cool concept justice. Today’s not the day—unforgettable, original, kickass games take time and care to make—but we can’t wait to fully announce details on this project at a later date.”
