Vin Diesel Tries To Patch Things Up With Dwayne Johnson Ahead Of Fast & Furious 10

Since their clash on The Fate of the Furious set in 2016, Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson no longer speak to each other except to throw a few nasty words via social networks or interviews in the media.

But between the two bald, muscular, high-speed superstars, the hatchet may be about to be buried. This Sunday, November 7, the American actor and star of Fast and Furious Vin Diesel took the pen on Instagram, where he shared a message to ask Dwayne Johnson to return to play in the famous action franchise.

“My little brother Dwayne, the time has come. The world is waiting for the finale of Fast & Furious 10. As you know, back home, my kids call you Uncle Dwayne. There isn’t a holiday that goes by that you don’t send your wishes to each other… but the time has come. The inheritance is waiting. I told you years ago that I would keep my promise to Paul. I swore that we would achieve and make the best Fast for the finale, which will be Fast & Furious 10! I say this for love, but you have to show up, don’t let the franchise down. You have a very important role. Hobbs can’t be played by anyone else. I hope you rise to the occasion and fulfil your destiny.”

For now, Dwayne Johnson has not responded. But if he intends to run for the U.S. presidential election, as has already been mentioned, it is inevitable that this reunion could not hurt him. Will Johnson clear his busy schedule and return in the two-part finale of the Fast and Furious franchise? Let’s hope so.

The message is unmistakable, Vin Diesel really wants the Luke Hobbs’ interpreter to be back for one last explosive turn! Note that Vin Diesel refers to the 10th opus as the “final” of the saga. It should indeed be declined in two parts, Fast 10 being scheduled for April 5, 2023, and Fast 11 in 2024.
