The Invincible is coming in 2022 and is created by industry veterans
The Invincible is one of those titles to keep an eye out for if you like futuristic RPGs. Last year, the title was unveiled by game industry veterans from studios such as CD Projekt RED, who now form Starward Industries.
This week a new trailer has been released showing the game in action, with scenes showing gameplay and some aspects of its sci-fi world. It is worth noting the importance of the RPG component we are talking about since among those responsible for the game are former developers of games like The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077. If we have to define it, we could say that The Invincible is a first-person science fiction adventure based on the cult work of the same name written by Stanislaw Lem. It proposes us to fight for survival on the planet Regis III, where we must find the missing crew members only with the help of your space equipment, your wits and ability to adapt to the dangers around you.
The Invincible is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X in 2022, having been delayed from its original 2021 release date. You will take on the role of a scientist aboard an interstellar expedition. The studio has opted for Unreal Engine 5 to shape its graphics, which have a retro-futuristic or atompunk aesthetic. It will seek to immerse us in a non-linear story that is defined by the decisions we make during the game and how we relate to other characters.
