Chorus’ New Gameplay Video Shows Intense, Spectacular Space Battles [VIDEO]

Promising to be a frantic space game, Chorus prepares us for the upcoming release by showing us the main mechanics.

Fans of space-combat simulators are indeed counting the days until the release of Chorus. This single-player title takes us into a bleak future where our protagonist Nara must confront her dark past on the Forsaken, piloting an intergalactic ship with a conscience of its own.

Chorus made its debut at Gamescom 2020, and we’ve been following the game’s development with keen interest ever since. A demo of the upcoming program from German developer Fishlabs showed us an enjoyable arcade space battle game full of energy and charisma. This time, IGN has shared an extensive gameplay video of the game’s frantic action.

You can learn about many of the game’s core mechanics in the video and dive into the immersive combat system. You can see some of the abilities, such as the “rite of passage”, which allows you to teleport away from a target or chase them down. Some of the more classic manoeuvres, such as the “barrel”, can also be seen.

Surprisingly, some indoor locations have also been shown, where the action becomes much more claustrophobic, and you’ll have to pay much more attention to the elements around you. At the end of the video, we can see some of the progression options the game allows us to make to improve our Forsaken. Space travel will launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC PS4 and PS5 consoles on 3 December.
