Kevin Feige Confirms ‘Spider-Man 4’ Is in Development

MOVIE NEWS – Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures remain in a partnership. That’s the reading between Kevin Feige’s lines after commenting that ‘Spider-Man 4’ is already in development. We will tell you more about it below.

Just days after Spider-Man: No Way Home was released, Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, announced to the New York Times that the fourth instalment of the spider-like superhero, played by Tom Holland, is already in development. I mean, Spider-Man 4 is already more than confirmed!

This movement is fascinating since, weeks ago, Sony producer Amy Pascal assured that three more Spider-Man films were already authorized. And now, coupled with the information given by Pascal, Feige surprises the industry by saying that a quarter is in early jobs. That means, without a doubt, that the partnership between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures remains stronger than an oak tree.

“Amy and I, Disney and Sony, we’re talking, yeah, we’re actively starting to develop where the story is going, which I’m just saying openly because I don’t want the fans to go through any trauma of mutual separation, like what happened next. From Far From Home (the previous Spider-Man movie, in 2019). That will not happen this time, “he promised the New York newspaper.

Thanks to Feige’s statement, it is known that everything is still going smoothly. As we already said, the first information about Spider-Man 4 emerged in late November, when Pascal revealed that another trilogy starring Holland was in the works. But later, he commented that he was hopeful that the partnership with Marvel would continue.

According to Screen Rant, Holland’s contract seems to be over, and he looks a little tired from playing Spider-Man so much in the last five years. Given that Spider-Man 4’s release date is likely to be in a few years, there should be plenty of time for him to recharge his batteries and land a hefty new deal. Regardless, fans can be sure that Spider-Man 4 is coming up and will be based on the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
