Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection Is Coming Soon To Nintendo Switch! [VIDEO]

The Ezio Collection includes all single-player DLC for all three games, an animated short film and a mini-series.

Ezio Auditore da Firenze has become one of the popular Assassin’s Creed saga icons, starring in some of the franchise’s most beloved instalments. The trilogy spanning the character’s arc has already arrived on desktop consoles in the last generation and is now coming to Nintendo’s hybrid.

The compilation follows the release of Assassin’s Creed: The Rebel Collection, after the notable Black Flag and Rogue, and Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered. As with the other releases, Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection will be accompanied by a short animated film, Assassin’s Creed Embers, and a mini-series, Assassin’s Creed Lineage, which will explore the context of the Auditore family history.

Available for Nintendo Switch on 17 February

The Ezio Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch on 17 February with Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, as well as all single-player DLC released for all three games to date. The physical edition will include the second part of the franchise in a tangible format, as well as the download codes for Brotherhood and Revelations.

As shared by Nintendo Life, extras such as Embers and Lineage, as well as audio packs for additional languages, will be available as digital content, with downloads up to 35GB. Nintendo Switch-specific features include a port of HD Rumble, a touchscreen-friendly interface and an optimised HUD. The franchise has been running for nearly 15 years and Assassin’s Creed Part 2 remains the most critically acclaimed episode to date.
