Jamie Lee Curtis Faces Her Nemesis For The Last Time In Halloween Ends

MOVIE NEWS – Jamie Lee Curtis’ Laurie Strode is set to fight Michael Myers for the final time in Halloween Ends – a brutal showdown is in store!

Laurie Strode’s final battle with Michael Myers has left actress Jamie Lee Curtis shaken. Curtis will return in the third part of Blumhouse’s new Halloween film trilogy, Halloween Ends, and will reportedly play Laurie for the last time, the character she first played in John Carpenter’s original 1978 film. The sequel is currently being filmed, and as there is no intention to continue the story, for the time being, the plan is to bring this three-part film series to a close in a big way.

What the end will be between Laurie and Michael is yet to be seen, but unsurprisingly their final battle could be pretty brutal.

Jamie Lee Curtis has shared a new picture of herself on social media, looking like she’s just finished a cage match. Smiling and holding up her middle finger, the actress shows off her bruises and seems pleased with how her final scenes with Michael Myers are going, even if things are getting a little rough.

“Sh*t got REAL! Fight Club Laurie Strode style!” Jamie Lee Curtis writes in the caption, pausing not to give away any specific information lest she break the first rule of said club. In another Twitter post, Curtis noted, “Only last night, battered and bruised and bloody and after being in show off business for 45 years do I now understand why the director calls ACTION!”

There have been many alternate timelines in the Halloween series. No less than twice, JLC’s Laurie Strode character was killed off, only to be resurrected in a reboot. However, now that we are four decades after the original film was released, it seems unlikely that the next inevitable Halloween reboot will re-imagine another showdown between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers. In an interview with Total Film last year, Curtis made it clear that he really does think this is her final Halloween film.

Halloween Ends will be released in cinemas on 14 October 2022.
