The Villain Of The Upcoming The Flash Movie Has Finally Been Revealed?!

MOVIE NEWS – Some people may have leaked who will be the main villain of The Flash…

There is still a lot of mystery surrounding The Flash. One of those mysteries is the identity of the film’s main villain. Well, thanks to stuntman Shane Steyn, we now have a new clue to that question: a picture of a t-shirt from the DC production further hints that the main villain will be an alternate version of Barry Allen.

The Flash stunt actor Shane Steyn shared a t-shirt from the film via his Instagram account, featuring Michael Keaton’s Batman and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl silhouette. Still, interestingly, the Flash’s silhouette doesn’t appear to be the same version of the sympathetic Barry.

The speedster silhouette on the shirt doesn’t just appear to be a twisted version of Barry…

… with sinister shapes sprouting from his hands and feet, but it also features a version of his classic emblem, with the red lightning bolt on a dark background.

In the Flashpoint arc, Barry inadvertently creates an alternate reality after going back in time to prevent his mother’s death and erasing the Justice League from existence, save for Batman, Cyborg, Aquaman and Wonder Woman; however, this also reveals the existence of an evil version of Flash called Reverse-Flash, Barry’s nemesis from the future.

So far, the film hasn’t shown any hint of Reverse-Flash making an appearance in the DCEU, but perhaps the newly revealed image is some sort of confirmation. The logo is very similar to the one used by Professor Zoom in DC Comics comics and animated films.

Since it’s not a Barry-version, an unconfirmed actor may play Eobard Thawne, but it was previously rumoured that Matthew McConaughey could bring the character to life.

The Flash will be released in cinemas on 4 November.
