Watch The New Trailer For ‘Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness’, With Professor X

MOVIE NEWS – Super Bowl 56 has also left us with the fantastic new trailer for ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’.

Just before Super Bowl 56 kicked off, Marvel Studios surprised us with the new trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the next movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The advance lets us see too many new scenes, but a special one has unleashed the madness. Why? Believe it or not, Patrick Stewart’s Professor X shows up. This would be the second time that a character from the X-Men – from Fox – has a presence in the MCU – after Evan Peters’ Pietro in Wandavision.

Why is Professor X’s presence in the trailer significant? A few days ago, rumours began to circulate about the alleged appearance of several members of the X-Men in Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness, including Charles Xavier. The trailer, then, partially confirms the leak. You can enjoy it below:

In the past, Patrick Stewart himself acknowledged that he had some meetings with Kevin Feige, director of Marvel Studios. However, he also made it clear that his role as Professor X had already ended. Interestingly, it’s the same kind of statement Andrew Garfield used to get around his involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home. So it was best not to write off Steward in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Beyond Professor X, the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness lets us see more of the sorcerer facing a severe problem, one that he himself unleashed in the third Spider-Man feature film. Yes, he will fight Captain Marvel. Of course, America Chavez and Wanda also have a presence , who will play a fundamental role in the narrative of the feature film. And of course, again, we see the variant of Doctor Strange, better known as Supreme Doctor Strange ( What if…? ).

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released exclusively in theatres on May 6.
