Stephen Spielberg Knows Where He Goes Wrong

MOVIE NEWS – Stephen Spielberg, one of the world’s most successful filmmakers, is aware of his weakness: he shouldn’t be made into sequels.

“Overconfidence has always been my main enemy,” Spielberg told The New York Times. “My sequels aren’t as good as the first film because I tend to trust myself. The Jurassic Park chilli brought in dollars that paved the way for the sequel, which I cut for a torchlight procession and made a mediocre movie. That was Jurassic Park: A Lost World . ”

The Lost World really wasn’t a hit, and neither the audience nor the critics were passionate about it. Spielberg learned from the case, and in the end he didn’t direct the fifth installment of Indiana Jones, even though it was originally the plan.

The final part of the dinosaur series, Jurassic World: World Domination , will soon hit theaters, returning the protagonists of the original film – Sam NeillJeff Goldblum , Laura Dern – and will be emphatically at the end of the story. Of course, never say never: just as the dinosaurs have been revived, the series may be resurrected, even in the form of TV series that have been tried several times, but all projects have been mown down.
