Creators Of Abandoned Deleted Several Twitter Messages

The “mystery” around Abandoned doesn’t seem to cease, although much was expected from Blue Box Game Studios…

The mystery of Abandoned seems to be far from over, or is it? As has been discovered on social media, BLUE BOX Game Studios has, in recent days, deleted several posts on Twitter in which the development team reported on plans for the game, including the release of a demo version announced three months ago that we heard nothing more about.

BLUE BOX Game Studios’ Twitter profile is still up and running. Their last post dates back to 30 January, when they reported a hack of their YouTube channel. Since then, and before that time, there has been a great deal of silence surrounding the project, to the point where many are beginning to doubt whether it ever existed.

Abandoned was unveiled 11 months ago, receiving early public attention for the alleged involvement of Hideo Kojima in its development. Its creators denied it from day one but also played a game of misdirection on social media, generating several convoluted theories among the Japanese author’s followers.

However, the fans’ patience came to an end when BLUE BOX Game Studios had to present the project, showing, not without several delays, a disappointing real-time experience. Accusations of scams, threats, new mysteries, and deleted messages like the ones reported today take us straight to the first anniversary of its announcement, with nothing to indicate that anything tangible will be forthcoming soon.
