MOVIE NEWS – Jurassic World’s new dinosaur, the Gigantosaurus (or Giga), has been compared to Batman’s Joker by the iconic film’s director Colin Trevorrow.

 

Jurassic World Dominion has a special announcement this year: something old, something new, something feathered and something blue will return in the final instalment of the Jurassic World trilogy, which will see old dinosaurs return to the big screen. We’ve already seen in the trailer that Blue, the velociraptor, and the dilophosaurus from the original Jurassic Park will be back, also there will be new feathered dinosaurs in the film. However, the first pictures of the gigantosaurus were published in Empire magazine now, as the creature haven’t been in the trailer.

Colin Trevorrow compared the new character to Batman’s Joker, saying that while some dinosaurs like Rexy are often positive characters in the story, Giga is not. Giga will be bigger and more ferocious than both the previous Indominus Rex and Indoraptor, a counterpoint to the good characters in the film, feared by anyone.

Giga, by the way, was a real dinosaur, dominating his habitat in the late “BioSyn got the contract to house the dinosaurs that have been captured around the world via various governments,” and “They claim it’s a research facility where they can study the pharmaceutical values of the animals. But there’s some other stuff going on.”

BioSyn was InGen’s rival in the original Jurassic Park. It was the company Denis Nedry tried to steal embryos from, which ultimately led to his own demise (and a huge uproar). Dodson, Nerdy’s contact will also be featured in the film, which suggests that the final episode will act as a conclusion to the entire franchise, much to the delight of fans. Jurassic World Dominion will also feature Rexy, of course.

“I wanted something that felt like the Joker, It just wants to watch the world burn.” – said Trevorrow to Empire of the massive and creepy creature.
