Warstride Challenges: Brutal Trailer & Final Release Date For The Demon Slaying! [VIDEO]

You’ll have to die over and over again to get the perfect match in Warstride Challenges’ Doom-like shooter.

A rare and creative project, Warstride Challenges is a first-person shooter game apparently inspired by Doom, in which the aim is to smash the timer by dying over and over again, Super Meat Boy style.

When last we heard, it was in development as Warcry: Challenges. Now renamed and published by Focus Entertainment, it’s coming to PC soon; specifically, it’ll be available on Steam early access on April 19 this year.

Die and try again until you get the perfect game!

“Blast hordes of demons at lightning speed in bloody gunfights, and race against the clock to overcome everything that comes your way! Die and retry to get the highest score in increasingly intense trials. Create and share your own runs, enjoying hundreds of levels created by the community,” reads the FPS description on Steam.

Focus is trying to sell Warstride as a game with a high replayability potential, with demanding but not impossible challenges that recall the “easy to learn, hard to master” premise that is common in the genre.

Warstride Challenges will be available to PC gamers soon, but in the meantime, here’s the latest trailer!
