Dying Light 2’s First Major Story DLC Has Been Delayed By Almost 1/4 Year!

Techland cannot keep the original release date for the first major story DLC. It isn’t a big surprise, given that Dying Light 2: Stay Human has been delayed so many times…

Techland had previously planned to release the first major story DLC for Dying Light 2: Stay Human sometime in early summer (which is why we were right to say June, as that’s supposed to be this month…). We can forget about that because, according to the announcement from the Poles, this new content will only be available to players from September.

Techland’s statement says, “Dear Pilgrims, your feedback has always been our top priority. At Techland, we strive to be as open and as honest with you as possible. Over the last few months, we have focused on adding some of your most requested features, such as New Game + mode, FOV slider for consoles, and many co-op improvements.

On top of that, in June, we will introduce the first game Chapter entitled “In the Footsteps of a Nightrunner,” filled with content and events and the highly anticipated photo mode. We need a bit more time to develop the first story DLC, which is now planned to be released in September. We apologize for the delay. We firmly believe that our community, fans, and gamers deserve to receive some truly unforgettable experiences.

We want the first significant story downloadable content to meet your expectations by giving it the absolute highest level of polish. Thank you for your trust and support.” If they want to consider feedback seriously, then they could take Denuvo out of the PC version, mainly because they promised to do so, and the initial sales period is over, so the game won’t sell as well nowadays as it did when it launched…

So, Dying Light 2: Stay Human will not be spared any delays after its release…
