This Barbarian Is Not Conan – Watch The Trailer For Bill Skarsgård’s New Horror! [VIDEO]

MOVIE NEWS – Bill Skarsgård is back in the genre as the lead in Zach Cregger’s horror film The Barbarian.

Bill Skarsgård returns to the horror genre with his latest film, Barbarian. The trailer shows a young woman, played by Georgina Campbell, travelling to Detroit to find her rented home. But when she arrives at the door, she is unexpectedly greeted by Skarsgård. The duo then share the house for a night of mysterious and disturbing events, with Skarsgård’s character leaving Campbell in imminent danger.

The trailer doesn’t give much away other than the glaring problems the night raises and the inevitable conflict the pair will share during their stay. We don’t know exactly what happens to Skarsgård; however, it’s clear that his short-term roommate is going to be quite scared. You can find the trailer and poster for Barbarian at the end of this article.

The film’s official synopsis gives us a glimpse of the Barbarian’s direction.

“A young woman traveling to Detroit for a job interview books a rental home. But when she arrives late at night, she discovers that the house is double booked, and a strange man is already staying there. Against her better judgement, she decides to spend the evening, but soon discovers that there’s a lot more to fear than just an unexpected house guest.”

The film is written and directed by Zach Cregger and produced by Arnon Milchan, Roy Lee, Raphael Margules and J.D. Lifshitz.
