Developers have reportedly already delayed the game twice. But they still plan on a 2023 release date. In fact, it now looks very likely that the game could be released a few months earlier than predicted.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage has been highly anticipated as it returns to the series’ roots, removing RPG-style mechanics and focusing instead on stealth, exploration, assassinations and parkour.

Naturally, the gaming world is eagerly awaiting the game’s release date. The latest trailer hinted at a 2023 release, revealing critical gameplay and story information. It was later speculated that due to internal delays, the release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage could be pushed back to the second half of 2023, possibly around August. Now a fan has revealed something that suggests the new AC could be released much sooner.

Reddit user danettte has shared an image that shows Assassin’s Creed Mirage could be released worldwide in March next year instead of the previously estimated August release date. The user shared a screenshot of the Romanian e-commerce website Altex, which appears to be taking pre-orders for the game. The image also shows crucial information about the release. It says that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released on 9 March 2023.

Meanwhile, Assassin’s Creed fans on Reddit have been sceptical about the latest development, as Ubisoft has not made any official statement on the matter.

Most gamers still believe that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released according to the original schedule. They do not expect the game to be released before August 2023. On the other hand, some fans are optimistic and hope the developers will announce a Ubisoft Forward in late December or January, focusing on the new AC.

Understandably, the gaming community would welcome an early release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage. However, no one wants an unfinished game. Many examples of studios facing backlash for releasing a video game earlier than expected. Which then turned out to have several technical and performance problems.
