In addition to the 2022 Steam Awards vote, there will be plenty of promotions, discounts and a release timed to coincide with the Christmas season.

 

 

As 2022 draws to a close, the festive season is upon us. And that means, among many other things, that Steam’s Winter Sale is back in full swing, along with the Steam Awards!

The 2022 Steam Winter Sale offers some very serious discounts on all kinds of games. In a challenging economic climate like the one we’re experiencing, a 50-75% discount can be especially significant. And the Winter Sale promises to offer discounts of that magnitude, or even more, on quite a few titles.

But other exciting things are happening. The Steam Points Shop will have a variety of digital goodies, as well as the traditional free holiday stickers – also digital, for accuracy – that you’ll be able to scavenge throughout the promotion.

The end of the year also marks the start of the annual Steam Awards voting on the portal. Voting is now live and will remain open until 3 January.
