Ubisoft+ Could Be Coming To Xbox With A Bunch Of Games?!

According to newly leaked information, the Ubisoft+ subscription service is finally coming to Xbox, with an initial launch of 63 games.

According to a leaked list of titles, the Ubisoft+ subscription service could be coming to Xbox relatively soon! It would launch with a massive list of 63 games. Ubisoft+ is Ubisoft’s subscription service, which gives subscribers access to the company’s enormous library of games and their associated DLC.

Originally called Uplay+, Ubisoft+ first debuted on PC before attempting to break into the cloud gaming market, making Google’s Stadia and Amazon’s Luna available.

With Stadia now closed, Ubisoft has been working to bring Ubisoft+ to multiple platforms. Ubisoft+ arrived on PlayStation Plus by making several of Ubisoft’s classic titles available to PS Plus Extra subscribers. Now it looks like it could be coming to Xbox too.

TrueAchievements has compiled a list of games that have been tagged as Ubisoft+ on Xbox and found a total of 63 titles. (See the link at the end of this article for the list.) That doesn’t mean that all of these games will necessarily be part of Ubisoft+ on Xbox. Some games may be left out. Or Ubisoft may start with just a handful of games and add more to the list later. Whatever the case, it looks like all the biggest Ubisoft games are on the TrueAchievements list.

The exact nature of Ubisoft+ on Microsoft’s console is not yet clear. Ubisoft+ may exist as its own completely independent entity to which Xbox players will be able to subscribe. It is also possible that it will be embedded in an existing Xbox subscription service.

After all, many of the big Ubisoft games are readily available to anyone with an Xbox Game Pass subscription, so perhaps it makes more sense for Ubisoft+ to be an extra perk for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.

There is already precedent for Microsoft adding third-party subscription services to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate package. Electronic Arts’ Ubisoft+ equivalent, EA Play, is available on Xbox through Game Pass Ultimate. So it doesn’t seem out of the question that the same could happen with Ubisoft+. But fans will have to wait and see what happens. For now, they can take a look at the leaked list of Ubisoft+ games that might be coming to the console and guess what they’ll be playing first (hopefully not too long after.)
