The Father of Diablo and Veterans of Diablo II Team Up to Create a New Action RPG Game

Moon Beast Productions is creating a new action RPG game in collaboration with the father of Diablo and veterans of Diablo II. The company was founded by Phil Shenk and Peter Hu, who previously worked at Blizzard North studio. The new project is already generating a lot of excitement among ARPG fans.

Phil Shenk worked as the art director for the Diablo games during the development of Diablo II and its expansion Lord of Destruction. Additionally, one of the most famous monsters in the Diablo series, the Shenk Baron, was named after him.

Peter Hu also worked on Diablo II, with his main responsibility being the creation of the game’s animations and effects. He was one of the main contributors to the development of the game’s combat scenes.

The collaboration for the new game also involves Erich Schaefer, who played a role in the development of Diablo II and the game Torchlight. Moon Beast Productions is not only carrying on the Diablo series’s legacy but also preparing new ideas for the action RPG genre. The new game aims to solve the problems in PvE games, which are also present in the Diablo series.

Moon Beast Productions is an indie studio with around 12 employees currently. However, their previous successes, including Erich Schaefer’s Torchlight game, show that there is great potential for the new project.

ARPG fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the new game, hoping that the team assembled by the father of Diablo and veterans of Diablo II will be able to surpass the success of previous Diablo series.
