WWE Superstar Dominik Dijak has proposed a change to his character in WWE 2K23: he wants the game to ditch his old alias T-Bar and use the current name Dijak instead. Wrestlers often change their brand names and sometimes it’s hard to keep up with the changes, so this change could help WWE 2K23 be more up-to-date in the current wrestling world.

 

WWE 2K23 has been quite a hit among wrestling fans. Not only has the game received good reviews, but WWE 2K23 features over 200 Superstars, more than half of which are available right from the start. This gives players a lot of choice. However, some of them are currently missing the title and one wrestler doesn’t seem too happy about it.

WWE star Dijak recently suggested that WWE 2K23 change his character’s name and appearance from T-Bar to Dijak. In a post on social media, Dijak says that he “appreciates the hard work and effort of the developers,” but he’s eager for this change since he’s been out of the T-Bar persona for some time.

Dijak began his career under his current alias in 2013, but changed it to T-Bar in 2020 when he joined the group Retribution. The group was eventually disbanded and Dijak rebranded in November 2022, several months before the release of WWE 2K23. However, the game did not take this change into account in time, and the wrestler is not happy about it.

It’s not unusual for WWE 2K23 to add new characters. So some WWE 2K23 fans have started to debate whether or not it’s realistic to believe that this change is actually happening. For example, YouBeliefs316 claimed that the developers changed Shinsuke Nakamura’s name to King Nakamura at one point, which would set an example of such changes. However, Acidhologramme reminded them that these were two separate characters, not an update. So the question remains open.

While fans are clamoring for new characters, WWE 2K23 continues to receive updates. The new 1.10 update brought back a fan-favorite feature: tired finishing moves. This allowed some wrestlers to collapse after using the finishing move if they were too tired, and it was a very popular feature in previous games in the series, but not in WWE 2K23 when it was released.

WWE 2K23 is a sports game that simulates the WWE wrestling organization. Players can choose from over 200 wrestlers, including current stars and legendary veterans. Players can participate in wrestling matches in different modes such as campaign, challenges, championships or online tournaments.

WWE 2K23 was released back in March for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S to generally favorable reviews. It also performs well from a commercial point of view. According to Activision, WWE 2K23 became the fastest-selling WWE game, bringing in more than $100 million in less than a week.
