Tom Holland May Not Return As Spider-Man?!

MOVIE NEWS – Tom Holland has expressed his concerns about whether he will return in Spider-Man 4 and revealed that he is “apprehensive” about it.

Tom Holland fans are curious to see if the actor will return for another web-slinging experience in Spider-Man 4. So far, the actor hasn’t revealed any secrets. However, he did confirm that he has been in several development meetings. Whether this means he’ll be donning the costume again remains to be seen. But he recently expressed his concerns about returning to the role.

Fans of the successful Spider-Man: No Way Home movie have been wondering whether Holland would return as the lead character in Spider-Man 4.

Many have even wondered if another chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise is needed. But producer Amy Pascal insisted that a fourth film is in the works. Peter Parker’s journey in the MCU continues. On the other hand, Holland expressed reservations and even said she was “worried” about it.

Holland recently revealed that he attended the development meetings for Spider-Man 4. He confirmed that all the key players, including Pascal and Marvel boss Kevin Feige, were present. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Spider-Man star revealed that in previous meetings, they all wondered why they wanted to continue the journey. “The first few meetings were about, ‘Why would we do this again?’ And I think we found the reason why. I’m really, really happy with where we’re at in terms of the creative,” Holland said. In doing so, he confirmed that there is a reason to continue the saga. Feige has also previously commented on the Spider-Man 4 storyline and how it’s already partially outlined.

Just because there’s a reason for a sequel doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone is on board. Holland has concerns about the hero’s sequel and revealed that he’s “a little apprehensive about it.” The reason? He’s worried about the stigma attached to the fourth instalment of a popular franchise. “I feel like we hit a home run with our first franchise, and there’s a part of me that wants to walk away with my head held high and pass the baton to the next lucky kid that gets to bring this character to life,” Holland said.

There is currently no word on Holland being replaced in future Spider-Man films, but what comes out of these development discussions remains to be seen.

It looks like fans will have to wait a while before getting more information about the film’s shooting. It seems Spider-Man 4 meetings are on hiatus. Holland previously revealed that Spider-Man 4 meetings are on break in solidarity with the writers due to the Writers Guild of America strike. So, while the team may have a reason to continue, they will not move forward until the strike is over.
