Xbox Game Pass: Ultimate Perks For July – Is There A Problem With The New Subscription Levels?!

After Game Pass Core was revealed this week, Xbox Game Pass subscribers are unhappy and arguing over a missing feature. Meanwhile, Ultimate news has also been announced.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers are unhappy about a missing feature following the unveiling of Game Pass Core this week. Game Pass offers monthly exclusives and a variety of games. And Game Pass Core serves as both the base subscription level and a direct replacement for Xbox Live Gold.

Let’s have online multi on the Console level too?!

Xbox enthusiast Armadyz and other Game Pass subscribers are unhappy with the lack of online multiplayer support at the console level, which costs $10.99 per month. Game Pass Core costs $9.99 and offers online multiplayer. So console subscribers must choose Core or Ultimate to get this benefit. Although Game Pass Console did not previously offer online multiplayer, some subscribers say the missing feature now confuses gamers who want to purchase the subscription for the first time.

The recent unveiling of Game Pass Core has sparked much debate about whether or not Microsoft should introduce the online multiplayer advantage to the console level.

Some users in the Xbox community on Reddit believe that Microsoft should add online multiplayer to Game Pass Console. That’s because Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S will no longer be two co-existing services later this year. Others believe that the Console tier should retain the purpose of the “basic” Game Pass subscription. Fans would have access to a library of single-player games instead of online multiplayer titles.

Game Pass Core won’t get new games every month (unlike Console and Ultimate subscriptions.) But Core subscribers can still expect new game additions twice or thrice a year.

Another dose of Ultimate goodness has arrived on Game Pass!

This month’s wave of unique benefits for Game Pass Ultimate has been revealed. The service offers players special bonuses when they sign up for Ultimate. Last month, for example, new Ultimate subscribers received a 90-day free trial of the DC Universe comic book app.

They also received a free digital copy of the 2009 Gerard Butler film Gamer and unique in-game content for titles like Apex Legends, Madden NFL 23 and January’s rhythm-based Hi-Fi Rush.

Yesterday, Xbox announced this month’s range of Ultimate perks. New Ultimate subscribers will receive 75 days of Crunchyroll Premium with their membership for a limited time from July 20. This will allow them to stream ad-free, thousands of anime titles, music videos, and more. They’ll also have access to the first uncut season of Naruto Shippuden, just in time for the Microsoft Movies & TV Anime Month sale. Finally, Ultimate members can get access to the FIFA 23 EA Play Ultimate Team Pack on July 21, which includes the EA Play FUTTIES Super Loan Pack and a loaner player item.
