Will They Be The Frontrunners For Marvel’s Fantastic Four?!

MOVIE NEWS – Marvel Studios has reportedly found Sue Storm and Johnny Storm for the MCU, with Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn joining the Fantastic Four movie.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has reportedly found its own Sue Storm and Johnny Storm in Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn. It looks like they may join the cast of Marvel’s Fantastic Four movie. Before the start of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike, director Matt Shakman said that filming on the movie would begin in early 2024 to meet the 2025 release date. However, Marvel has since pushed Fantastic Four from February to May 2025. So it’s likely that filming will also start later. In addition, with strikes still ongoing, Marvel will not be able to continue casting. Nevertheless, a new report has emerged.

Now, Jeff Sneider of Above the Line reports that Marvel Studios has its eye on Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (aka Invisible Woman) and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (aka Human Torch) in the Fantastic Four movie.

As of press time, Marvel, Kirby and Quinn have not commented on the report.

Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn have been rumoured to be in the running for the roles of Sue and Johnny Storm for some time. Quinn, in particular, has been very popular with fans since he played the character Eddie Munson in Stranger Things season 4. Sneider initially reported that Jack Quaid was rumoured for the role of Johnny Storm. It was later confirmed that Quinn was the actor he had in mind. In addition, Vanessa Kirby was also constantly circling around the character of Sue Storm. She was joined by names like Margot Robbie and Mila Kunis, who were in the running for the role.

It is worth noting that this is the first time Above the Line has reported on casting rumours for Marvel’s Fantastic Four. Which probably speaks to the credibility of this particular report. With any luck, representatives for Kirby and Quinn will confirm the news soon. Although that may not happen until after the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strike is over. In any case, that should make it two more significant roles to play. As it seems Marvel Studios is still on the hunt for the MCU’s new Reed Richards (Mr Fantastic) and Ben Grimm (The Thing).
