The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon: More Terrifying Zombies Than Ever!

MOVIE NEWS – Executive producer of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has revealed the new mutant zombie versions of the spinoff and the new threat they pose.

Greg Nicotero, executive producer of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, has revealed more details about the new Walker variants that will be seen during Daryl’s adventure in France. Following the events of The Walking Dead, the spinoff will see Daryl washed ashore in France, trying to piece together what happened and how to get back to Virginia. Along the way, Daryl will encounter acidic zombie creatures whose blood burns people’s skin.

Speaking with TV Insider, Nicotero detailed the acidic zombie versions of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which he referred to as “burners”.

It seems that this new zombie variant will be a standout in France. It will no doubt pose a threat to Daryl throughout the series. Check out what Nicotero had to say below:

“These zombies have mutated to a point where if they touch or bite you or their blood gets on you, it burns you significantly. It changes all the rules.”

As the trailer for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon reveals, one of Daryl’s first encounters with a zombie in France will be an acid version. This new “burning” zombie will wound him. He’s not used to fighting walkers who can hurt him without biting. Nicotero also told us that touching the “burner” can cause injury. This shows how dangerous the zombie apocalypse is in France.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon may also introduce other zombie versions in the sequel to the series. In the follow-up to another series in the franchise, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, we saw another version of the fast zombies in France.

Since it was hinted during the scene that France is the origin of the zombie virus, the country may be more susceptible to the emergence of Walker variants.

In addition to the new zombie variants that Daryl will have to face, the trailer for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon reveals that Daryl will be leading a young boy, Laurent, around the country.

Along the way, they will undoubtedly face several ‘burners’. And later, a “runner” may be revealed. The series seems to open a new chapter in the franchise, one that is far more dangerous than anything that has come before.
