A recently released Soulslike game has already been an enormous success, with mostly positive reviews and strong sales. But what does this mean for the future?

 

 

The brand new Soulslike game Lies of P has been a huge success. It received mostly positive reviews and sold 1 million copies in its first month of release. Some fans weren’t entirely thrilled with Lies of P after playing the demo. However, developer NEOWIZ made some changes based on the feedback. These tweaks seem to have made all the difference for the fairy-tale Souls-esque game.

NEOWIZ has confirmed that Lies of P has officially sold 1 million copies in 1 month across platforms. NEOWIZ also highlighted the reception of Lies of P by fans and critics. The Soulslike received an overall rating of 80 across all systems and an 89% positive user rating on Steam. The developer also pledged to share what the future holds for Lies of P “when the time comes”, so fans of the Pinocchio game should be excited.

While the full reveal hasn’t been made yet, fans already have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the future of Lies of P. It’s been confirmed that Lies of P DLC is in active development, which could give Souls fans who have already conquered the game a reason to return.

The scale of the DLC is not yet known, but if it’s anything like what FromSoftware has done with expansions for Soulslike games, fans will have plenty to be excited about.
