PlayStation Plus: Here’s The Free Stuff For January, Including More Memorable Titles!

Sony has officially announced the first batch of free PlayStation Plus games available in January 2024!

Sony has revealed the first free PlayStation Plus games of 2024. These titles will be available on Tuesday, January 2. PS Plus subscribers are treated to another batch of free games every month. Monthly free games are available to all PS Plus subscribers. Whether you subscribe to PS Plus Essential, PS Plus Extra or PS Plus Premium.

New free PS Plus games always become available on the first Tuesday of the month, and the launch typically – though not always – takes place on the last Wednesday of the previous month. That’s precisely what happened with the January 2024 free PS Plus games that have just been revealed.

Starting Tuesday, January 2, 2024, PS Plus subscribers can add A Plague Tale: Requiem, Evil West, and Nobody Saves the World to their collection. Unlike PS Plus Extra and Premium games, these games remain available to subscribers for an unlimited period of time. At least as long as they stay subscribed to the service. PS Plus subscribers who haven’t played these titles are in for some great games. After all, all three are great games and set the bar high when it comes to free PS Plus games in 2024.

PlayStation Plus free games for January 2024:

  • A Plague Tale: Requiem (PS5) – January 2
  • Evil West (PS4/PS5) – January 2
  • Nobody Saves the World (PS4/PS5) – January 2

For those of you who aren’t familiar with free PS Plus games for January 2024, A Plague Tale: Requiem is an award-winning action-adventure stealth game from Asobo Studio that was first released in 2022. Requiem, a direct sequel to the highly successful A Plague Tale: Innocence, which was also available on PS Plus, takes the franchise a step further. It offers vastly improved graphics, refined gameplay and an engaging story to keep fans engaged from the beginning of the game to the final whistle. A Plague Tale: Requiem does not have a native PS4 appearance, so PS Plus subscribers can only play it on PS5 next month.

Fortunately for those who haven’t yet upgraded to Sony’s latest console, both Evil West and Nobody Saves the World will be readily available to PS Plus subscribers on both PS4 and PS5 on January 2.

Evil West is a third-person shooter about a vampire-hunting organization in the Wild West. It received somewhat mixed reviews when it was released in 2022, yet it is often cited as one of the most underrated games of the year. Nobody Saves the World, meanwhile, is a cooperative dungeon crawler. Players can transform into all kinds of different characters and creatures and use their unique abilities to roam the game world and fight enemies.

In addition to the free games, PlayStation Plus subscribers can expect a bonus free game in January 2024. Starting January 2, PS Plus subscribers can claim the Syrinx Collection for the free game Warframe. As part of this, they can acquire weapons, armour and more.

While PS Plus subscribers wait for January’s free content, there’s still time to grab the December 2023 free PS Plus games. The December lineup included LEGO 2K Drive, Powerwash Simulator and Sable.
