New Episode Of Famous Game Series To Debut On Nintendo Switch 2?!

A well-known and reliable leaker has confirmed that Persona 6 is now likely to be released on the rumored Nintendo Switch successor…

A reputable leaker claims that Persona 6 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch successor console. There are many rumours surrounding Persona 6. Even though it hasn’t been officially announced by Atlus yet. Numerous leakers and insiders have provided fans with various information over the years. All this makes it difficult to determine precisely what is true and what is not. The latest Persona 6 rumours revolve around the platforms it will reportedly be released on.

While previous Persona games were exclusively released on PlayStation consoles, Persona 6 is said to break that streak and debut on multiple platforms.

The Persona series only became truly multiplatform around 2022-2023. At that time, some mainline Persona games were ported to multiple platforms, including the Nintendo Switch. The last release in the series, Persona 3 Reload, was also multiplatform. It has been released on all major platforms except the Switch. With the NS successor console still heavily rumoured, a leaker claims that Persona 6 will debut on that console as well.

This claim comes from prominent Sega leaker Midori, who has been incredibly accurate throughout 2023.

Midori has responded to Nate the Hate’s recent leak, in which he claimed that Persona 6 would be coming to Xbox consoles but likely not to the Game Pass subscription service.

Midori confirmed that Nate the Hate’s information was correct. Also, that the game will appear on several platforms, in addition. When asked if that included the Switch 2, he simply said yes.

What else is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 from Atlus?

Midori previously claimed that two other Atlus RPGs will be coming to the Nintendo Switch successor console. Add to that the recently released Persona 3 Reload and the upcoming Metaphor Re: Fantazio. Persona 3 Reload director Takuya Yamaguchi previously stated that the team could probably port the game to Nintendo hardware if there were a successor console.

If Midori’s claims are correct, the Nintendo Switch 2 could likely get three impressive JRPGs almost immediately after release.

Many rumours have been about the Nintendo Switch 2 in the past year. Many claim that developers have already gained insight into what Nintendo is working on. Also, that the console will be released sometime in 2025. Many of these rumours come from reliable sources. However, their details and specifics are not consistent. Both Persona 6 and the successor to NS are just rumours for now. Thus, despite Midori’s accurate results so far, this information should be treated with reservations until we receive more official information.
