The three founders of the studio working on the game, Loric Games, have previously worked together on several notable games (Ultima Online, Dark Age of Camelot, Warhammer Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic), making the airship-based open-world survival RPG even more exciting.

Loric Games was founded in 2022 in Northern Virginia, USA, and is backed by Brian Johnson, Ray Soto, and Mythic co-founder Rob Denton. “We’re building a game that’s more than just eating berries, punching trees, and building straw huts. We all love to play games with heroic stories. In our long history of making games, we’ve come to believe that good storytelling can set a game apart. The survival experience can be much more powerful with the right blend of story and open world gameplay mechanics,” said Johnson.
