Will Assassin’s Creed Hexe Not Only Change The Established Formula By Getting Scarier?!

According to Insider Gaming, Assassin’s Creed Hexe is currently in the early development phase, with the goal of release in 2026.

One of Ubisoft’s most exciting games is Assassin’s Creed Hexe. It’s designed to be a dark and terrifying title that’s different from the rest of the franchise’s offerings. It will be very different from previous games in the AC saga. It will take place in the Holy Roman Empire of the 16th century, where witchcraft will be the central theme of the game.

Today, more details about the mysterious game have come to light, and it’s already clear that the witch hunt in Assassin’s Creed Hexe will be not only dark but also scary.

Insider Gaming via Tom Henderson has revealed new details about AC Hexe. Based on your information, we now know that the game is still in a relatively early stage. The release date is roughly 2026. In addition, it is expected to debut on the Assassin’s Creed Infinity platform. In addition to horror and the supernatural, Hexe will aim for a slightly more linear experience. It will have open areas, but in this respect, it promises to be like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Odyssey or Origins.

In terms of world-building, it will resemble the early AC games. As for the main characters of Hexe, it will have a single main character, Elsa, and yes, she will be an assassin. He has some supernatural powers. Thanks to these, he can, for example, possess a cat to distract the enemy. On the other hand, the location will be dark and gloomy. It’s all made even scarier with the introduction of a scare system inspired by Assassin’s Creed Syndicate’s “Jack the Ripper” DLC.

Assassin’s Creed, set in Japan, will be released later this year

A few days ago, it was reported that Ubisoft had confirmed the release window for Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, a title set in feudal Japan. There are hardly any official details yet. In addition to the fact that Ubisoft seriously believes that this will be the biggest blockbuster of 2024. It is due in fiscal year 2025, but according to rumours and details leaked on LinkedIn, it could arrive as early as October-November this year.
