Japanese-Style Horror from Hexadrive? With Niraya Of ■■ You can Get it!

Hexadrive’s game has a rather strange title, but maybe they’re trying to censor where Niraya comes from with the squares.

Niraya Of ■■ will be a Japanese-style horror adventure game, and it’s planned to be PC-only. It will feature a unique avoidance mechanic. Niraya of ■■ focuses not on the traditional horror tropes of fighting, hiding, and fighting, but on dodging. You play as a small child, managing your limited stamina to use objects around you to dodge the attacks of a variety of monsters. Players will get the satisfaction of solving problems through trial and error, while also experiencing the terror of being pursued by monsters and the supernatural abilities they possess.

The challenge will be to explore a terrifying unknown world. The player assumes the role of the protagonist, who must escape from a bizarre space, unknown in the modern world. The player will solve puzzles hidden throughout this space. However, strange phenomena and ambushes will occur, making the player afraid of what might be waiting for him. The core game mechanics can be summarized as follows: Exploration, Puzzle Solving and Evasion. So forget the melee.

Niraya Of ■■ is being directed by Yuya Yamaguchi. He has previously worked on several games, including Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Metal Gear Solid: Social Ops, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D and Silent Hill: The Short Message. This gives him a lot of experience, as Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D was the 3DS port of MGS3, and it’s been over a decade since its release.

So Niraya Of ■■ is PC-only, and is currently scheduled for release in the last quarter of 2025, so the earliest it could be released on Steam and the Epic Games Store is October 2025. Presumably the console versions will depend on how much interest there is in the PC version. Judging by what we’ve seen so far, there’s probably nothing to be ashamed of for the game with two squares in the title.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
