Hell Is Us: No Shortage in Investigating! [VIDEO]

The Nacon Connect broadcast also featured the game Rogue Factor, last seen at PlayStation’s State of Play.

Having teased its storyline at the last two PlayStation State of Play events, Rogue Factor’s ambitious new project, Hell is Us, used Nacon Connect to unveil its investigation mechanics in detail via a gameplay video narrated by creative director Jonathan Jacques-Belletete. This aspect of the game is in line with the philosophy of player-placement, which allows players to take full control of their adventure. They must rely on their powers of observation, reasoning, and intuition to progress through the game and uncover the secrets of these mysterious lands. Guided by conversations with the characters they encounter and a meticulously designed level structure, players will forge their own path in this immersive experience.

Hell is Us is a third-person action-adventure game that combines intense melee combat with the thrill of exploration. Explore a semi-open world to find answers to your questions and encounter mysterious creatures along the way. In addition to the civil war that is tearing the country apart, the region is suffering from a mysterious disaster that has given rise to supernatural creatures that no modern weapon can defeat. Your drone and your sword from another age will be your trusty allies as you make your way through lands infested with terrifying chimeras and try to unravel the mystery of their appearance.

No map, no compass, no quest markers: following your instincts is part of the adventure. Enjoy a unique experience that uses innovative writing and level design to let you make your own decisions and follow your instincts as you explore. Your discoveries are all yours. Swords, spears, and axes: a wide variety of weapons forged specifically to fight these supernatural creatures are at your disposal. You must learn to fight these monsters and use your drone wisely to stay alive.

Hell Is Us is scheduled for release on September 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
