The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series will also be getting Void Interactive’s game, which has been available on PC for almost a year and a half.
Actually, it’s been more than a year and a half, as the full release date is actually December 13, 2023… but it was first released in Early Access on December 17, 2021. That means it has been in Early Access on Steam for almost two years. The console version will be available in several formats. The base game will cost $/€50, as will the Day One Edition (in addition to the base game, you can also get the M32A grenade launcher, MK-V pistol, and 590M shotgun; these are free for PC players). The Deluxe Edition will cost $/€70 and will include the Home Invasion and Dark Waters DLCs in addition to the base game (these can be purchased separately for $/€10), but will also include the third, yet-to-be-announced DLC and the pre-order bonus weapons.
Console players will enter the world of Los Sueños. The spike in crime in the greater Los Sueños metropolitan area has severely strained the resources of the LSPD, threatening to overwhelm the department’s ability to maintain order. In response to the growing threats facing residents, the LSPD mobilizes its Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams to respond to high-threat scenarios, including active bomb threats, barricaded suspects, and high-risk hostage situations to minimize police casualties. To coincide with the console launch, Void Interactive is releasing the Stories of Los Sueños free DLC in the form of two new single-player or online cooperative missions. PC players will have access to the new missions in a free update on the same day as the console launch.
Ready or Not features 20 single-player or online co-op missions for up to five players. Two DLCs introduce six additional levels, and the Dark Waters DLC adds the UH-60 support helicopter. Dozens of options to customize a player’s entire SWAT team, including armor, weapons, clothing, and more. Immersive tactical gameplay, full flexibility of approach, and authentic equipment used by SWAT teams in the field.
Ready or Not is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series this summer, and will also be available on PC at the same time on the Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store.
