Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo game is about to enter its eighth season, which will bring a lot of new content to the latest installment.
Blizzard has released a blog post detailing the eighth season, as well as a new gameplay video. As for the boss forces, players will be able to draw attacks from 24 bosses. Each one has a main effect and a modifier effect. We also have a full list of boss attacks available to players. Some boss attacks are available at all difficulty levels, while others are only available at Torment I or higher. Speaking of difficulty levels, Blizzard is now implementing a new tiered system for the former endgame bosses by revamping the lair bosses.
There are now three tiers of lair bosses: Initiate, Greater, and Exalted. These bosses are only available on Torment I or higher difficulty and require the Diablo IV accessory Vessel of Hatred. Blizzard also detailed some new legendary and unique items that players will be able to grind in Season 8. New items will be available for Barbarian, Necromancer, Mage, Druid, Rogue, and Spiritborn characters. Another big change for the new season is the introduction of Reliquaries. This is a new way to earn rewards and will be a facelift of sorts for the Diablo IV Season Pass… Most Reliquaries will be available for Platinum, while others will be available after completing certain milestone events.
On Thursday, April 24, Blizzard will give players a full and detailed look at Diablo IV’s Season 8, dubbed Belial’s Return. The gameplay video for the new season shows off some new boss attacks and lair bosses for players to use. More on the new additions will be revealed later this week.
The eighth season of Diablo IV, Belial’s Return, will be released on April 29, one week from today.
