Project Warlock 2: It Walked a Long Road Until It Left Early Access! [VIDEO]

Buckshoft Software announced the sequel to the first installment, released in 2018, in 2021. Of course, the second installment sticks to the first-person shooter genre.

The final version is content-rich. It features three campaigns with different protagonists, 36 levels, 54 weapons, a host of perks, upgrades, and spells, and over 50 monsters. There’s even a “Realmshift Mode” that allows players to replay any chapter with any character. That’s quite a lot of content, and for now at least, it doesn’t require much spending.

Project Warlock 2 is available at a 50% discount, so you can buy Buckshot Software’s game for just €8 (about 3200 HUF) until June 11. Buckshot is also running a fun community event where players can submit their own game tips, and if selected, those tips will be featured on Project Warlock 2’s loading screens, properly credited to the tipster. It’s a great way to engage players and see some more unusual tips than what we usually get at the bottom of loading screens.

“Project Warlock II continues the story of the first game but was always meant to be more than a remix of old locations, weapons, and enemies within a specific template. It was ambitious, bigger, longer, meatier, and offered not one but three protagonists. In hindsight, maybe this second installment should have been smaller, as it ended up being pushed from the originally planned 2023 date to 2025. Still, I feel this is the best version of Project Warlock 2 that the Buckshot team and I could come up with” – wrote Buckshot in the Steam post announcing the launch.

In any case, better late than never! With this longer delay, Project Warlock 2 has become truly massive in terms of content, and it really doesn’t cost that much!
