[XGS 2025] Persona 4 Revival: Another Remake of Atlus’ Hit Franchise [VIDEO]

The rumors were right again, as Atlus and P-Studio are remaking the fourth installment after the third. A sixth episode is surely in development.

The debut trailer for Persona 4 Revival, a modern classic RPG remake, shows off stunningly refreshed visuals in the rural town of Inaba. You arrive as a transfer student, ready for an unforgettable year with new friends you meet along the way. Yet rumors of bizarre murders and a mysterious TV channel quickly shatter your peaceful days. Suddenly, a door to another world opens—awakening your Persona abilities and drawing you into a quest to fight for the truth alongside loyal allies.

P-Studio director Kazuhisa Wada shared a special message: “We are excited to announce Persona 4 Revival. We can’t wait to reveal more details soon. Persona 4 inspired many spin-offs, including a TV anime, Persona 4 Arena, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and Persona 4: Dancing All Night. This game has always held a special place at Atlus, and it means a lot to me personally. Right now, we’re pouring our passion and care into this project. We’re sure it will surprise both newcomers and longtime fans, and we look forward to sharing it with all of you. We’re also actively planning the future of the Persona series. Our whole team is working hard to meet global fans’ expectations and development is progressing well. Stay tuned for more news and please keep supporting the Persona series.”

Persona 4 Revival is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam and Microsoft Store—with Denuvo confirmed again). There is no release date yet, but Atlus has confirmed that the remake will be available on Xbox Game Pass from launch.
