MOVIE NEWS – Tom Hardy returns as Harry Da Souza in the second season of MobLand, which will arrive on Paramount+ this September. Alongside confirmation of the release window, an explosive new trailer has debuted, offering a glimpse of the bloody power struggles and growing tensions within the Harrigan family.
The first trailer for the hit crime drama’s second season picks up in the intense aftermath of the Season 1 finale. Audiences can expect ten new episodes filled with power plays, shifting alliances, and heavy bloodshed. The Harrigans are back, but their position is more unstable than ever, while rival gangs are ready to exploit every weakness inside the fractured criminal empire.
After ending the first season behind bars, powerful patriarch Conrad Harrigan, played by Pierce Brosnan, and his conniving wife Maeve, portrayed by Helen Mirren, are now free and back on the streets. The heavily armed couple leaves chaos in its wake, while Tom Hardy’s street-smart and formidable fixer, Harry Da Souza, returns under extreme pressure. The trailer opens with Harry holding a rival captive in the back of his van as he attempts to keep the family’s crumbling empire together. Meanwhile, rival gangs look to take advantage of the Harrigans’ dysfunction, and growing internal tensions push everyone toward increasingly dangerous situations.
During the second season, the Harrigans will struggle to present a united front as rising rivals threaten their weakened empire. Harry must walk a dangerous tightrope while conflict within the family intensifies and violence spreads into every corner of their lives. Loyalties break, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves absolutely no room for mercy.
