Halo Infinite singleplayer campaign presentation at the end of the month on July 23, the unveiling of the multiplayer will be postponed.

 

We’ve been waiting for it for several years, and Microsoft is finally bringing us Halo Infinite. Their first unveiling of the game’s campaign will take place at the presentation of Xbox Series X exclusives at the XSX event on July 23rd. 343 Industries has started tuning us to what we can expect from the event.

 

In his blog post, 343 told fans they can safely count on the single campaign presentation.

“We’re excited to share what the team’s been working on–the first look at Halo Infinite’s campaign is coming on July 23!” said the developer.

 

As it seems the July 23 event will focus on the Halo Infinite campaign instead of the multiplayer. This may be a disappointment to a significant portion of fans right now, but it’s understandable if Microsoft wants to focus on a certain element of the game for now. There will probably be a multiplayer revelation, only at some other time.

 

Microsoft has already shown details of the Halo Infinite campaign during E3 2019 with a cinematic trailer, let’s look at it again:

 

Back sometime during E3 2018, game director Chris Lee said that 343 would be “making changes to how we approach things” with Halo Infinite. This can mean a lot of things, of course, but in the light of rumors, this sentence plays a particularly important role. It is said that Halo Infinite can come in two versions, in the form of a Singleplayer campaign and a multiplayer section, which will be released separately. Lee said he can’t wait to take the players in “new and unexpected directions” although what the gentleman meant by that we can’t know for sure yet.

Maybe he meant the release model of the game with the separate single-multi part? Or the new story or something completely different? We’ll see.

 

 

Halo Infinite will be the opening title of the new Xbox Series X console, and more beta tests can be expected before the game is released. The game will also appear on Xbox One and PC.
