Days Gone: The PC Port Launches In One Month [VIDEO]

Although Sony Interactive Entertainment Bend Studio might not be allowed to work on a sequel that the team pitched effectively after the launch of the first game (if the rumours are true…), Sony might be convinced if the PC revenues are higher than expected.

SIE and SIE Bend Studio announced on the PlayStation Blog that their open-world action-adventure game is going to be available from May 18 on PC, and due to equal treatment, not only Steam will get it but also the Epic Games Store. Sony might not be interested in local pricing, as they just 1:1 converted the USD to EUR, but fifty euros are more than fifty dollars…

Anyway, here are the system requirements and some of the features:

Minimum system requirements:

  • A 64-bit operating system and processor is required
  • Operating system: Windows 10 x64
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K (at 3.3 GHz) or AMD FX-6300 (at 3.5 GHz), or better
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 (with 3 GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (with 4 GB VRAM), or better
  • DirectX: DX11
  • Free storage: 70 GB
  • Installing on an SSD and having 16 GB RAM is recommended

 

Recommended system requirements:

  • A 64-bit operating system and processor is required
  • Operating system: Windows 10 x64
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-4770K (at 3.5 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X (at 3.5 GHz), or better
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (with 6 GB VRAM) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (with 8 GB VRAM), or better
  • DirectX: DX11
  • Free storage: 70 GB
  • Installing on an SSD is recommended

 

Days Gone’s PC features will include ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked framerates and improved graphics (increased level of details, field of view, foliage draw distances). It will also feature all previously released updates, so you will see New Game Plus, Survival Mode, Challenge Mode, and further bike skins. There will also be a new photo mode.

Days Gone will launch on May 18 on PC.
