NINE Season 2009 blends together gameplay and a real footage documentary created by Mark Neale, well known for his works on the documentaries Faster, Faster & Faster (starring Ewan McGregor), Fastest, and Hitting The Apex, co-produced with Academy Awards winner Brad Pitt. “NINE took shape much like the 2009 MotoGP season itself. At first, nobody was sure how it would go, but it turned into something amazing. Making it was a great experience. I think playing it will be, too,” Neale said,” the press release claims.

What will we get in Nine Season 2009? “Stakes are high, and players will face all the 17 Grand Prix of the Season divided into chapters and filled with breath-taking challenges to complete. All the NINE Season 2009 content is also available in Grand Prix and Championship modes, allowing us to play entire races and seasons as the iconic riders of the 2009 season.

All the riders, the bikes and the tracks of season 2009 are included, with more than 1 hour of real footage, full of stories, anecdotes and interviews with the protagonists of the races. There will be 39 challenges that accurately reproduce the most crucial moments of the season. Each challenge is characterized by specific goals, such as defending the position against attacks from a rival, reaching a particular position before the end of the race, or engaging in a head-to-head duel with a very aggressive rider. Additional content is unlockable with each challenge, such as helmets and special liveries used by the protagonists in home races. Events, challenges, stories, and unrepeatable emotions are now ready to be lived, once again!”

MotoGP 22 will launch on April 21 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
