We have to wait even more for Yager’s game… Deep Silver has published a short statement about the upcoming Dead Island 2. Previously, we also were suspecting a delay, but now it is confirmed that the game will only be released in 2016.
The statement says that there will be more playable characters with the obvious co-op opportunity on the tropic island, but they promise more content and combat options.
Originally, Dead Island 2 would have been released this Spring, but according to the devs, they didn’t reach their targets, so they will use the extra year (or more; they didn’t say a more exact date!) for developing the game even further.
At least they are honest.
