Star Wars Battlefront: Oh, there will be a Season Pass and an Ultimate Edition

Unsurprisingly Electronic Arts and DICE will offer a Season Pass for Star Wars Battlefront, and you can still pick up the public beta to play today, before it ends – it was extended by a day. So we can expect more of the same actually: we get the base game first, followed by four DLCs later on. But let’s take a look at the dirty financials: how much will the two aforementioned items cost?

So the Season Pass will be fifty dollars, and it will come with four DLCs. However, if you get the Season Pass, you will get access to them two weeks earlier, as well as getting a Shoot First emoji. While the latter one is unimportant, the former thing is absolutely ridiculous. Pay early to get stuff early! Just like with Battlefield 4.

The Ultimate Edition will have the Deluxe Edition of the base game and the Season Pass – however, the price will be a whopping 120 dollars. We think that paying that much instantly for a game isn’t a common thing, unless you’re a hardcore Star Wars fan. Hopefully the game will be good to warrant that purchase.

The game launches in the middle of November. We also know now that the Cargo mode will be a Capture The Flag game, with 6v6 teams – the match will end either after 10 points or 15 minutes. There’s going to be a Droid Run mode, which will not have any heroes or villains in them (that’s what Hero Run will be for!), and we will have to identify three droids in it.
