Allison Road: Off from Kickstarter, a publisher steps in

Allison Road showed up as a really respectable project – thanks Konami for deleting Kojima’s and del Toro’s Silent Hills / P.T, as these were the inspiration behind the game. Thanks to the big popularity, the game went to Kickstarter… only to get off from this site. Thankfully, nothing bad happened, so don’t worry: the game is in development, but there is a publisher now for the project!

The publisher for Allison Road will be Team 17 – you might know their name from the Worms series. They also support some independent developers like Playtonic or Mouldy Toof. However, the donators who already pledged some money towards Allison Road will not be left behind: they will be rewarded/get their perks outside Kickstarter! This is a really decent step from the developers – keep it up!

We’re happy to see Allison Road getting picked up: with this move, we might expect the game to show up on consoles too, which could be a middle finger move towards Konami and their decisions.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
