Resident Evil 2 Remake: „Coming Soon”?!

One of the game’s original programmers hinted at the unseen Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Hiroyuki Kobayashi told Collider in his interview that Resident Evil 2, which originally launched in 1998 after restarting the development, might see its Remake version launch soon. The term can mean quite a lot of things, but still, his comment is positive and ominous.

If we think about 0’s and 1’s current-gen iterations, they both launched early in the year (2016 and 2015, respectively), and 7 also has arrived in January in 2017. Therefore, it’s possible that 2 Remake could be seeing a release in January 2018. Hopefully, we will see Leon and Claire in action this summer.
