Resident Evil Revelations Gets Release Date And New Platform [VIDEO]

Capcom‘s strategy will eventually cover the entire Resident Evil franchise.

The Japanese company announced a few months ago that Resident Evil Revelations, which originally launched on the Nintendo 3DS, then ported to the PC, PS3, X360, and Wii U, would also be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One… also the Nintendo Switch!

First, the PS4/X1 duo will get the port on August 29, when ten other games will also launch (way to ruin your release dates, Capcom!). Full HD resolution, better frame rate (that’s what the press release says… doesn’t mention 60 FPS at all), and all the DLCs will be included. PlayStation 4 pre-ordering will net you a dynamic theme, too.

The Nintendo Switch version will be out in late 2017, and Capcom has also announced that Resident Evil Revelations 2 will also show up this year on the big N’s new platform.
