The Batman Scandal: Telltale's Response!

The developers just couldn’t leave the situation without a response regarding the events around Batman: The Enemy Within since yesterday.

Yesterday, we wrote how the game’s second episode, The Pact, contains an image of a deceased Russian ambassador as part of a background, which isn’t a clever move, no matter how we look at it. Telltale has reacted with a statement submitted to Gamasutra, which is the following:

„An update to the game has been submitted this morning that will be removing the image across all platforms. We regret this incident occurred, and we are taking appropriate action internally to ensure that we continue to maintain our high standards in Production and Quality Assurance.”

Ah… but this statement doesn’t explain HOW that image even managed to get into the game!
