FIFA 18 Is Off To A Good Start, But What About The Switch Port? [VIDEO]

Regarding the Nintendo Switch port, there were some worries, but now we can see what EA Sports has pulled off.

Digital Foundry has created a comparison video where the Switch version is facing off the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox 360 port. Now, aside from seeing the game getting released on a 12-year-old hardware, it turns out that FIFA 18 is based mostly on the prev-gen port, but it improved visually while lacking content. It’s half-way between the X360 and the PS4 version, making it somewhat custom, but not that much… Risky.

Still, Electronic Arts revealed on Twitter that by the end of the launch weekend, the annual football game had over 1.6 million players, which is still a decent result if you consider the fact that it came out on six platforms (aside from the already mentioned three, there’s the PlayStation 3, the Xbox One, and the PC version, too).

FIFA has a lot of money, no matter how we look at it…

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
