According to some rumors, it would be an evolution of the system of specialists of Black Ops 3.
A few days ago, we picked up a hypothetical filtration supported by numerous sources of interest according to which Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 could be released without a traditional campaign mode. Today, some new rumors spread by the journalist Matt Harris on Twitter would reinforce the previous information remarking a resemblance to games like Overwatch or Lawbreakers.
“Sources that have done multiplayer tests say that it seems less Call of Duty, and more Overwatch or Lawbreakers. The reference to Lawbreakers is very accurate, considering what they told me next” explains Harris. “The game was going to take the system of heroes or specialists of Black Ops 3, and take it to a new level.”
The report also explains that a system of gusts more similar to the final skill that we usually see in this kind of games would have been implemented, but that the internal impressions would have encouraged the studio to reverse it more in the line of Black Ops 3.
We encourage you to take this information with tweezers: the reason we have decided to publish these rumors is that the Charlie Intel portal, a great source of leaks of the Call of Duty series, brings some credibility to these rumors. However, even from where they claim they can not corroborate their veracity.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be formally revealed on May 17. It will arrive in stores on October 12 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
AND THUS BEGINS A THREAD EXPLAINING THE LEAKS IN DEPTH WITH MUCH MORE CLARITY!
I’ll also be sending this direct to certain YouTubers. First come first serve if you wanna make videos off the back of this stuff. pic.twitter.com/4Ghedljj55
