Hitman: Sniper Assassin: Is Agent 47 Returning Shortly?

We already know that IO Interactive is working on Hitman‘s sequel. Now, we might have found out the name of the next game.

The name is suspicious, though: Hitman: Sniper is a game on iOS and Android, and there’s also Hitman: Sniper Challenge on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Now, the Korean rating board has rated Hitman: Sniper Assassin on all three usual platforms, so the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, and the PC would all get the game which isn’t announced yet.

IO Interactive managed to keep the rights to the Hitman IP after Square Enix has left them behind, and the name could likely be the Hitman sequel. Or maybe it’s another „mini” game with sniping as the only thing to do? We’ll see shortly.

It’s not fake, mind you: even Australia has rated the game, too, in February. Is IO Interactive going to announce the return of the bald assassin at E3? It’s a possibility.
