Shadow Of The Tomb Raider: From Swimming To The Artificial Intelligence [VIDEO]

Eidos Montreal released two more videos.

The developer team continues to introduce its team members, so as was the case with the last trailer (where the lighting was in focus), they are taking the helm yet again.

In the first video, Daniel Drapeau, the gameplay director, talks about how Lara Croft is capable of swimming freely underwater, allowing her to find small caverns that lead to massive challenge tombs. Of course, Miss Croft can also run on walls, as well as traverse on trees’ canopies. A few concept artwork images also show up that shows Lara in action underwater.

The second video has a development tester, Bianca Lavric. She talks about the complexity of the artificial intelligence, explaining how the team tests everything for the sake of perfection. (She mentions a helicopter scene with no other details mentioned.) A small insight is also seen how the developers work on the pathing of the AI in the jungle, but the footage doesn’t have lighting and effects!

Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches on September 14 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title. She also played The Sims 3, but after accidentally killing a whole sim family, swore not to play it again. (For our office address, email and phone number check out our IMPRESSUM)
