Life Is Strange Is Getting A Comic Sequel!

The title isn’t a typo: the first Life is Strange‘s plot is going to continue in comic form.

After March’ Square Enix/Titan Comics miniseries announcement, the duo confirmed who are behind the comics: the writer will be Emma Vieceli, Claudia Leonardi will do the art, Andrea Izzo will provide colouring, and Manda Schank will create the first issue’s cover. (The image below by Leonardi is already promising.)

In the comics, we will see Max Caulfield and Chloe Price after returning to Arcadia Bay. „Importantly, as with the game, it must always be remembered that what we’re creating here is one possibility out of many. One of the wonders of the series is that every player may have taken Max and Chloe on a unique journey, and so distilling their possible futures into one mini-series is a huge thing,” Vieceli says.

The four-issue miniseries can thus be considered as the sequel to Life is Strange, with the Sacrifice Arcadia Bay ending picked at the storm. The first issue will launch in November, and we might get all four by the end of the year if it’s going to be a weekly release.

While Dontnod is making Life is Strange 2 with a new cast of characters, it’s a pleasant sight to see Max and Chloe used elsewhere.

Still, she likes puzzle and story-oriented games, like Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments, which is her favourite title.
